Benjamin was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently resides (when he's not out in the wilds) on Isla de Margarita. He studied Tourism Management at Universidad Simón Bolívar. Before joining Angel-Eco Tours he worked as a guide for several large Venezuelan and Danish tour companies.

He is an extremely talented and experienced guide, and has led expeditions in regions all across Venezuela; he is as comfortable guiding a tour in the mountains of the Andes as he is in the jungles of the Orinoco Delta. He loves to customize tours that offer a diversity of experiences; Angel Eco’s Ultimate Andean Wildlife Safari was designed by Benjamin and is often guided by him, too.
