THREE ENGLISH SCHOOLCHILDREN TO VISIT VENEZUELA AS PART OF SCHOOL PROJECT

Twelve-Day Educational Journey To Take Them Throughout Venezuela
on Once In A Lifetime Trip

New York/NY - October 22, 2002 -- Three 15 year-old English schoolchildren (William Bellamy, Toni Boyden and Hafiza Bhabha) are in for the adventure of a lifetime - a 12-day educational trip throughout Venezuela - complete with a visit to the British Embassy in Caracas, thanks to the generosity of several businesses based on three different continents and the tenacity of their educators in Stamford, (Lincolnshire), England.

Just last week the trip, which started out as a school project on Venezuela, was in jeopardy of being cancelled after a major sponsor unexpectedly dropped its' support. That's when the other sponsors Angel-Eco Tours (NY & Caracas), a leading developer and promoter of Venezuela; Crystallex International Corporation (Canada, US and Venezuela), an international mining corporation, Dunes Hotel & Resort proprietor Gustavo Coronel (Margarita Island) and VHeadline.com, a leading online source of independent news & views about Venezuela, stepped up, insuring the kids will get rewarded for all the hard work they've completed thus far.

During the trip, the kids, who attend the Queen Eleanor Community College in Stamford, Lincolnshire, will be researching, writing and filing daily stories that will be posted on VHeadline.com, as part of their school project. The children will be leaving UK on October 23rd and depart from Caracas on November 3rd. Besides visiting the British Embassy in Caracas, the children and two teachers will visit El Dorado, famous for its' gold mining, Angel Falls (the world's highest waterfall), Margarita Island - once famed for being the center of the pearl trade and the beautiful archipelago of Los Roques.

They will have cultural interchanges with the community of El Callao (El Dorado) as well as with the Pemón Indians of Canaima's vast national park (the 6th largest in the world) and will visit the marine turtle conservation project in Los Roques. They will also have the opportunity to bask in the sunshine on some of Venezuela's paradise beaches and visit the metropolis of Caracas, the nation's capital.

Interested parties can read the accounts of their trip by clicking on to VHeadline.com at http://www.vheadline.com/p1/tourism.asp Just two weeks ago, in anticipation of the trip, the children spent 40-minutes visiting and interviewing Venezuelan Ambassador to Britain (former Washington Ambassador) Alfredo Toro Hardy at the Venezuelan Embassy in London. That interview was prominently featured in various local newspapers in the UK and appeared on VHeadline.com.

"Besides the sponsoring companies, who will act as hosts throughout the excursion, the school should feel very proud of two of their mentors and VHeadline.com who made the dream a reality," says Paul Stanley, the British-born president of Angel-Eco Tours of New York City. "Without the skilled leadership of Terl Bryant, Chairman of the South Kesteven District Council and Queen Eleanor Community College Headmaster Alan Large and the persistence of the editor at VHeadline.com Venezuela, this trip would have never gotten off the ground."
